AN ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION
THEME: Artificial Intelligence & The Image of God
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly taking over the world day after day, augmenting human capabilities. Nowadays, AI writes our homeworks. AI cooks our foods. AI cleans our rooms!
These developments have raised ethical concerns concerning its autonomy of self, rationality over man and potential for harm. Can AI be trusted? And despite its advantages, what consequences does it holds for us all? Both spiritually and in our relationship to the world?
Might we plunge into a world where the utilitarianism of AI outweighs Man’s dignity and intelligence? Could AI’s attempt to reshape the world be a technological apocalypse rather than a revolution? Do you think God approves of AI? Or do the advantages outweigh the collateral damages?
What do you think?
The Lighthouse Hill is accepting ARTICLES on the topic. Articles should seek to provide a cogent dissertation of the topic in analysis of the emergent reality of Artificial Reality in relation to the theological concept of The Image of God in the present age.

HAPPY CREATION!
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16
