even before we gave them up to You.
Because Your compassion is an everlasting well;
it bathes us in Your goodness.
Because Your blood dries our scarlet sins,
till we are as white as snow.
Because before we called,
You had answered.
Because our heartbeat is Your ringing tune,
You always pick up.
Because You first loved us.
Because You are the captain of our fate,
the author of our story.
Because before we were made,
You knew us.
Because Your love is a priceless grace,
we could neither earn nor deserve it.
Because You made us heirs,
in the glory of your marvelous heritage.
Because You gave your Son,
just for the love of us.
Because You loved us without reason:
we will love You without season.
Even as the season weakens,
we will hold on to the greater power in You.
Our life is all the currency we’ve got,
but we will spend it all on You.
