God is rich in love and exceeding in glory,
God’s love endures, more than the tides of the ocean,
His love encompasses His children like a fiery wind of flaming fire,
His countenance smells of love and grace in pureness.

God loved us before we were,
After we rebelled, His love didn’t wear out,
We came in guilt, like prodigal sons, God received us back,
His mercies are new every morning, so we never lack.

God’s love is immeasurable and true,
Our strength will fail us, but His love never fails,
God’s love is unconditional, accessible to all and free for all.

When we behold Him, all we see is love,
What love God has for us?
He left the righteous to save the sinners.

He did not complain to us,
He instead bears our burden,
He doesn’t sleep so that we can lie down safely,
He gave His precious blood to wash our filth and stench,
He became poor, that we might be rich,
His glory that we might not be ashamed.

God is love,
For whosoever loveth is of God,
Love is the Father,
He is the maker and sustainer,
Our pillar and defender.

His love is solid behind us in times of trouble,
Solid beneath us like our rock,
Solid above us as our fortress,
Solid beside us as our guardian,
Solid before us as our shield,
Solid in us as our peace.
