UPON THE DAWN OF THE DAY

In the passage of time,
Hours, minutes, and seconds,
Cannot be timed by any measure,
To tell accordingly,
The exact atom of time,
When a new day dawns,
Apart and away,
From the fall of night.

How soon is a day?
That we may gladden our hearts,
And prepare our minds,
For the very specificity of the hour in time,
When the miasm of a darkened state,
Shall no longer be to us,
A mystery that hath no end in sight?

A-day-soon,
Light breaks the dark,
Our nights of woe, season of gloom,
Ever spreading over raiment of a nature aweary,
Shall not the velocity of a time longer,
Overcast a sureness of joyous hope,
That light, fulgent light, will a moment bring,
Upon the dawn of the day.

A-day-soon could be tomorrow,
Could be a century, could be aeons,
The certainty of hours, minutes, and seconds,
Is not ours to unravel,
But nothing shall ever remain the same,
At that point in time,
When darkness shall vanish at the speed of light,
Upon the dawn of the day.

16-11-2020,
Light-bearer.
